The online parts catalog includes oil filters, engine and cabin air filters, batteries, brake pads, accessory belts, cooling hoses and wiper blades, among others. for Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac owners.
GM expects online sales of its parts and accessories to reach $40 billion by 2030.
The automaker said it plans to offer parts, accessories, live-delivered digital products and subscriptions through a single digital storefront.
The automaker started selling accessories online in 2015, covering 5,000 products.
“We put digital software and services at the center of every part of our business,” said Edward Kummer, Chief Digital Officer. “The future of GM retail lies at the intersection of digital and physical e-commerce. Whether it’s selling parts or vehicles, GM will meet its customers where it’s most convenient for them.
GM said it plans to offer customers the ability to purchase, purchase and finance electric vehicles (EVs) entirely online, although those customers can visit the physical dealership at any time during their choice.
Last week, the automaker announced it was launching a US used-car sales business this spring called CarBravo, which allows customers to shop online and includes non-GM inventory.
